Little Blue Penguins

These medium-sized seabirds, yet tiny penguins are very susceptible to climate change and global warming which often impacts their food supply. They often end up washed up along the beaches starved from a lack of food.

These medium-sized to large seabirds breed around New Zealand in coastal and riverine areas. Fishing vessels are often a huge threat to them as many become entangled and hooked in fishing gear.
